The Manila Times columnist revealed that the former ABS-CBN and ANC news anchor is allegedly in charge of VP Leni Robredo’s soc and trad. which explains the amount of dung being shoveled from the  OVP’s direction.

Jojo Robles added further that the cover of Ricky Carandang is a low-key company owned by a high-profile yellow crony family who is supposed to be paying for his salary.

The former secretary of PCDSPO Ricky Carandang who worked under the Presidential Communications Group is currently the Vice President and Head of Integrated Corporate Communications of First Philippine Holdings, First Gen and Energy Development Corporation.

Ricky Carandang is the first head of the Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office (PCDSPO), created during the year 2010 under the term of Pres. Benigno Aquino III. As head of PCDSPO he worked as the President’s chief message-crafting body but resigned on December 12, 2013.

During the time when Ricky Carandang was working for ABS-CBN he was considered as a top news anchor of ANC and co-hosted the evening news show “The Rundown” and hosted the national affairs talk show “The Big Picture,” and was a field reporter for ABS-CBN’s Filipino-language free-television news program TV Patrol and Bandila.
